Pattern library

Inspired by our collective coastal experience, our second collection is a patchwork of patterns. From travels abroad to summers spent at beachside shacks, the designs draw upon the memories and nostalgia of holidays past. Found treasures during daily swims, the flowering of plants in salty air, warm blankets on chilly evenings—these have informed our art. Sorbet pastels of lemon, mint and sky form the backdrop to the full colour spectrum of the midday sun.

Featuring some of the lesser known native Australian plants, Field Day's first collection is an eclectic mix of patterns—designed to complement and sometimes clash. Playful mark-making is paired with botanical inspired illustrations from long ago discoveries. Highlights of bright yellow, coral and pink give life to the base colour palette of ochre, clay, forest and soft lilac.
